Owing to climate change, spells of heavy rainfall are expected to increase, so widespread use of a rainwater harvesting system and storage of rainfall could reduce the risk of localised flooding.
Rainwater harvesting is the collection of rainwater that falls on industrial buildings, barns or shed roofs which can be diverted through pipes and collected in Butek water tanks to use as required.
